Here's a tribute to those little things that make my day a little brighter. It's a tribute to life... and things that too often go unnoticed. I want to celebrate life's many nuances, quirks, faces and flavors with you.
I'm committing every Thursday to five little things.
To being greeted this morning by my beautiful Victorian green paisley Bible...
and tickets to the Knoxville Opera on February 10 (a gift from Toby!).
Two beautiful reminders that life is so so sweet, and there are things to look forward to.
To that cup of half dark roast coffee, half hot chocolate ((in one of my most prized mugs)).
It's the only thing that rescues me from being called in to work early... starting my shift at 1 a.m.
To my very own mailbox at work, sandwiched between the accomplished Don Dare and Erica Estep.
And also knowing that in 6 months, it won't say "Jensen" anymore!
To the shower cap and the turbie headband, for being my faithful morning-routine companions.
And finally, to my parents, for spending time with me this Thursday...
and for letting me play with my food.
