((Flashback!))
I can't believe that nearly 2 years have already come and gone since that night. This weekend, Toby took me to the Knoxville Opera for the second time to see Roméo et Juliette. Verona... two households... star-crossed lovers... ((you know the rest.))
The performance was great, and we even sat in the same area as last time. It almost felt as if we had boarded a time machine and had been transported back to Valentine's Day 2010. The only difference was that Toby didn't listen to a basketball game on his iPhone and the two stars were significantly less wide and hairy.
The end of the first act ended with Romeo and Juliet getting married. We looked at each other, decided that was a very happy ending, and left during intermission ((hey don't judge)). Who really wants to see Juliet take 20 minutes to kill herself while belting out superhuman notes anyway?
As far as we know, Romeo and Juliet lived happily ever after.
The Tennessee Theatre is beautiful!
And as for getting ready for the night, that was one of the best parts.

Oh you know I like things fancy.
So that was the beginning of our Valentine's celebration. I can't wait for Tuesday! What are your plans?
Looks like you had fun!!
